Class of 2019 urged to remain focused, resolute

Forty-one graduating students of Grange School, Lagos, have been counselled to remain resolute in all their undertakings, as they proceed to a higher stage of their academic journey.

The guest speaker and etiquette consultant, Mrs Yeye Bush-Alebiosu, who addressed the graduands at a programme tagged “School leavers assembly,” reminded them that their new journey comes with freedom, cautioning that such requires responsibility and uprightness.

She enjoined them to remain focused and work hard so as to attain loftier heights in life. In the face of Information Technological (IT) disruptions and social media activities, she advised them to tread with caution in the IT world.

“You need to be focused in your new journey. There is so much bombardment especially from social media and most of it is really none of your business. There are so many things out there looking for your attention, so please ignore them, try and focus on your aspirations.”

Acknowledging, that the challenges of raising the contemporary youths are huge, Bush-Alebiosu, advised school managers to give their students confidence and integrity, saying these will go a long way in shaping their personality.

Head of School, Mrs. Adetola Oladeji, charged the graduands to put God first, dream big and work towards their dreams, assuring that with God and hard work, they will certainly accomplish their life goals.
