Extra-Curricular & Trips

Extracurricular Activities and overseas residential Trips

The School offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities and the pupils are given many opportunities to develop their skills and pursue their enthusiasms. The changing programme, run by teachers, volunteer parents and specialists, includes sports, art, music, cookery, orchestra, language activities, drama, dancing and ICT, as well as gymnastics and tennis.

Towards the end of Year 5 pupils enjoy an action packed activity week in the Culmington Manor in Shropshire where a variety of exciting outdoor pursuits are experienced. On a yearly basis other school trips are planned.

One of the defining features of our curriculum is its emphasis on sports, music and the arts. It is central to our educational goals as we firmly believe that in order to get the best out of each and every pupil we must invest time and expertise in creative as well as academic subjects to develop well rounded, open minded and happy young adults.

School plays and musicals, sports days, concerts and art exhibitions are all regular features of our School calendar, many of these events are open for you as parents to enjoy and benefit from too, so please come along and see for yourselves the results of all your children's hard work.
