Graham J. Stothard JP - Headmaster/CEO

 

graham3Graham John Stothard was appointed in September 2013, having completed five successful years as Headmaster of Lagos Preparatory School, Ikoyi Lagos where he led that school to become the first COBIS Executive School in Africa.
Before coming to Nigeria in 2008, he had served in such senior positions as Head teacher, Head of Senior School, SENCO and Head of Business Education and various other senior positions. Graham was a UK designated National Leader of Education and is an Inspector of Schools with the Independent Schools Inspectorate (UK).

An economics and education honoursgraduate from the University of Wales, Graham has an advanced qualification in School Leadership from the University of Manchester, along with Fellowships of The Royal Society of Arts, The Institute of Leadership and Management and The College of Preceptors. Graham is a senior British Magistrate now on the supplemental list

Graham's free time is spent with his wife Emma and his two beautiful boys Max Carlton, and Rafe Templar and socialising with close friends and colleagues.

As the Headmaster and CEO of Grange School, he has the overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of all the schools activities. This includes specific responsibility for the strategic direction of the School, academic and non-academic policies, curriculum implementation, staff appointments, staff development, and partnership working with the Board of Directors, The Governing Council, parents and other stakeholders.
